On the occasion of June 1st – International Children's Day, a grand festive event was organized for the children of martyrs in Salyan district. Jointly organized by the Salyan District Committee of the Republican Union of Azerbaijan Trade Unions of State Authorities and Public Service Workers (ADİİXİ Hİ RB) and the Salyan District Branch of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), the main objective of the event was to bring unforgettable holiday spirit to the children of our heroic martyrs, who are deeply cherished by our nation. Special Attention and Care for the Children of Heroes Within the framework of the event, every single detail was meticulously planned to ensure that the children spent their leisure time efficiently and joyfully. Various entertaining programs, colorful games, and musical performances brought great joy to the little guests, adding a special vibrancy to the atmosphere. The organizers emphasized that the families and children of our martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland, must always be surrounded by the highest attention and care of society. Holding such events is of great importance, not only for bringing smiles to the children's faces but also for making them constantly feel the continuous support of the state and public organizations. At the conclusion of the event, holiday gifts were presented to the children, and commemorative photos were taken.

In accordance with the action plan of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan (ADİİXİ Hİ) for the first half of 2026, a zonal seminar on the topic "Protection of women and child labor and labor law" was organized in the city of Tovuz. Within the framework of the seminar, participants were provided with detailed information on the protection of women and child labor, labor rights, as well as legislation in the field of occupational safety, and requirements for safety and sanitary-hygienic conditions at workplaces. The event was attended by representatives of trade union committees from Tovuz, Gazakh, Aghstafa, Ganja, Samukh, Shamkir, Goygol, and Gadabay districts. Official representatives of the ADİİXİ Republican Committee, the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, and the State Labour Inspectorate also participated in the seminar.

On the occasion of "May 28 - Independence Day," the final stage of the "Independence Cup" intellectual competition based on the "What? Where? When?" game was held among youth. This large-scale competition, consisting of 5 selection rounds and a final, served as a platform for the intellectual rivalry of 276 young people from 46 schools. Based on the final results of the intense and engaging competition, the following teams placed in the top three: 1st place: "Khari Bulbul" team of the V. Sariyev Shushun Village School. 2nd place: "Prestige" team of the B. Mammadov Murtulu Village School. 3rd place: "Goshgar" team of the E. Zulfugarov Shilyan Village School. It should be noted that this competition, which serves to reveal the intellectual potential of young people and organize their leisure time effectively, was held through the joint organization of the Kurdamir District Education Sector, the "Kurdamir Youth House" social service institution, and the Kurdamir District Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan (ADİİXİ). We congratulate the winning teams and wish the young intellectuals success in their future endeavors.

The Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan has implemented another measure aimed at the effective organization of the leisure time of trade union members. The primary goal of the organized weekend recreation is to ensure both the individual relaxation of the members and the strengthening of collective relationships. At the same time, conditions have been created for employees to relieve their fatigue after a busy work week and resume their work activities with higher energy. Within this framework, trade union members were sent to the Samad Vurgun Health and Recreation Center.

A flower-laying ceremony was held in Kurdamir on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The commemoration ceremony was attended by the district leadership, representatives of various state institutions, and residents of the district. Participants visited the monument to the Great Leader, laid fresh flowers before it, and commemorated the memory of the genius personality with deep respect. Following the ceremony, a tree-planting campaign serving the preservation of ecological balance took place within the district territory. Participants of the event provided special care to the planted trees and once again drew attention to the importance of environmental protection. It was noted that holding such events not only shapes a sense of care for nature among the younger generation but also makes a valuable contribution to the expansion of the district's green belts.

The Trade Union Committee of the State Housing Development Agency (MİDA), a member organization of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan, has implemented another initiative aimed at the effective and meaningful organization of the employees' leisure time. At the initiative of the committee, a group of agency employees was sent to the Creative House of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union named after Samad Vurgun. The primary goal of this initiative is to ensure the cultural and spiritual recreation of employees after their daily work activities, to support their creative potential, and to further strengthen the atmosphere of sincere communication within the collective. The conditions created for the employees at this cultural center, bearing the name of the prominent Azerbaijani poet Samad Vurgun, serve to enrich their leisure time with both relaxation and an environment for reading and culture. The leadership of the Trade Union Committee noted that enhancing the social welfare of employees and involving them in cultural facilities will continue to be a priority. The initiative was met with great appreciation by the employees and made an important contribution to the more purposeful organization of their recreation.

Organized by the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan, a zonal seminar themed "Let's ensure the creation of a healthy psychosocial work environment," dedicated to April 28 – World Day for Safety and Health at Work, was held in the city of Gusar. The event was attended by chairpersons and activists of trade union organizations from the Gusar, Guba, Khachmaz, and Khizi districts. Participants were provided with detailed information regarding legislative acts on occupational safety, normative-legal documents, and international recommendations in this field. Jamaladdin Guliyev, First Deputy Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan, staff members of the organization, and a representative from the Guba-Khachmaz regional department of the State Labour Inspectorate Service participated in the seminar and exchanged views on the topic.

The ANAMA Trade Union Committee, a member organization of the Azerbaijan Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers, organized educational events dedicated to "April 28 - World Day for Safety and Health at Work". The series of zonal seminars, covering the period from April 20 to 24, 2026, took place in the Aghdam, Aghjabadi, Khojavand, Tartar, and Goranboy districts. During the seminars, participants were provided with detailed information regarding the threat of mines, ways to mitigate such risks, and safety rules that must be followed during work processes and daily activities. Furthermore, specialists explained the proper behavioral procedures to follow when encountering suspicious objects. The events continued in an interactive discussion format, and at the end, detailed answers were provided to questions of interest to the participants.

A meeting with members of primary Trade Union organizations of the zone was organized in the Guba district. The meeting was attended by Hikmet Nabiyev, Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan (ADİİXİ Hİ), staff members of the apparatus, and a representative of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHİK). During the event, a number of important organizational issues were discussed, and measures to be implemented toward the creation of new union organizations were determined. At the meeting, the importance of strictly adhering to the principle of rotation when issuing sanatorium-resort vouchers was particularly emphasized, and it was also recommended to maintain transparency in work principles and increase activity on social networks. Issues regarding the organization of holidays for trade union members in the upcoming summer season were also a focus of the meeting. In this regard, it was planned to ensure the effective recreation of members by utilizing the facilities of the "Ulfat" recreation center. Finally, the importance of strengthening the joint activities of local organizations for more effective implementation of the set goals was noted.

Under the supervision of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan, an extraordinary General Meeting of the primary Trade Union Organization was held at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event was attended by Hasan Jafarov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, and Hikmet Nabiyev, Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan. Organizational issues were discussed on the meeting's agenda, and relevant decisions were adopted regarding the more efficient organization of the organization's future activities. Personnel matters were also reviewed during the meeting. As a result of the voting, Jahangir Jahangirli was elected by a majority vote as the new Chairman of the primary Trade Union Organization of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. As the collective and leadership of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan, we congratulate Jahangir Jahangirli on his election to the new position and wish him success in his efforts to develop the trade union movement and protect the social rights of employees.

On the occasion of April 28 – World Day for Safety and Health at Work, a zonal seminar was organized under the motto "Let's ensure the creation of a healthy psychosocial work environment!". The event was attended by a total of 44 people, including chairpersons and activists of Trade Union Committees from 9 districts, as well as representatives of the Lankaran City Trade Union Committee. During the seminar, it was particularly emphasized that organizations should prioritize the commitment to creating a healthy psychosocial work environment. Participants were provided with detailed information on identifying factors of psychosocial risks in the workplace, such as improper distribution of workload, communication problems, discrimination, psychological pressure, and violation of work-life balance. The criteria for a healthy psychosocial environment, such as transparent management, mutual respect, support, high motivation, and minimization of stress, were explained at the event. Experts highlighted the consequences of psychosocial risks for the participants, including stress, depression, sleep disorders, decreased interest in work, reduced labor productivity, staff turnover, and workplace accidents. Within the framework of the seminar, the ways to create a healthy work environment were also extensively explained. Important steps such as respecting employees' opinions, holding regular meetings, fair distribution of work, providing psychological support, and strict adherence to working hours were recommended. The event continued in an atmosphere of broad discussion that sparked great interest among the participants.

During his official visit to the Republic of Turkey to attend the VIII General Congress of the influential Kamu-Sen Confederation, Hikmet Nabiyev, Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan (ADİİXİ Hİ), held high-level bilateral meetings. The most significant part of the visit program was the official meeting between Chairman Hikmet Nabiyev and Önder Kahveci, who was re-elected as the Chairman of the Kamu-Sen Confederation. During the meeting, held in an atmosphere of sincerity and mutual respect, the importance of uniting sector-specific trade unions representing public servants from both brotherly countries on unified platforms was particularly highlighted. As part of the successful Ankara visit, a business meeting was also held with the Chairman of the Trade Union of Office Workers of Turkey (Türk Büro-Sen), one of the largest member organizations of the Kamu-Sen Confederation. Throughout both meetings, the parties held a detailed exchange of views on the current state of multifaceted cooperation, the successes achieved, and future directions for development. The discussions emphasized the importance of sharing experience in protecting the rights of employees in the public and social service sectors, improving working conditions, and enhancing service quality. At the conclusion of the official meetings, the parties discussed opportunities to further expand mutual strategic relations between the sector trade unions of Azerbaijan and Turkey, as well as the organization of joint regional seminars and training sessions, reaching a mutual agreement on future action plans. The Turkish partners expressed their deep gratitude to the Azerbaijani delegation for this important and historic visit, as well as for their continuous support for strengthening the trade union movement of the Turkic world.

The VIII General Congress of the Confederation of Public Servants Trade Unions of Turkey (Kamu-Sen), one of the most influential and largest labor organizations in the Republic of Turkey, has been held with great success. The prestigious event, which unites public and state sector workers of the brotherly country, brought together wide-ranging delegations and international partners. Azerbaijan was represented at the forum by official delegates from the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan (ADİİXİ Hİ) and the Republican Committee of the Azerbaijan Health Workers' Trade Union. Address and strategic partnership Hikmet Nabiyev, Chairman of the ADİİXİ Hİ Republican Committee, delivered a speech during the official session of the Congress, where he highly commended Kamu-Sen’s long-standing systematic and dedicated efforts to protect the labor, social, and economic rights of public servants and to improve their welfare. In his address, Nabiyev emphasized the historical significance of the unbreakable friendship, brotherhood, and strategic alliance between Azerbaijan and Turkey. He particularly noted that the ties established between the sector-specific trade unions of both nations have developed dynamically and efficiently in recent years, with joint projects making significant contributions to the Turkic world's labor movement. Outcomes of the Congress During the event, a detailed report on Kamu-Sen’s activities, achievements, and future goals over the preceding term was presented and discussed by the participants. As part of the organizational proceedings, elections were held for the confederation’s leadership. Following a democratic and transparent voting process in accordance with the charter, Önder Kahveci was re-elected as the Chairman of the Kamu-Sen Confederation. The Azerbaijani delegation congratulated the leadership on their re-election and expressed their confidence that the integration processes between the trade unions of the two brotherly countries would continue to grow.

The 19th anniversary of the establishment of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the professional holiday of migration agency workers are being celebrated. On the occasion of this momentous and historic day, a special and colorful festive event was organized for the children of individuals who have been granted refugee status in our country, as well as those who have officially applied for refugee status. This humanitarian project, carried out through the direct initiative and high level of organization of the Trade Union Committee of the State Migration Service, brought great joy to the children. The primary goal of this charitable and supportive event is to comprehensively support the social, spiritual, and cultural development of children from vulnerable groups, as well as to encourage their successful integration into Azerbaijani society and adaptation to the local environment. At the same time, this important step taken by the trade union aims to ensure that children in difficult life circumstances are not left without attention and care, and to provide moral support for their future happiness, prosperity, and healthy growth. A sincere atmosphere was fostered at the event, which was enriched with a special entertainment program for the children, and various interesting gifts were presented to them. The participants of the event and the families of the children expressed their deep gratitude to the leadership of the State Migration Service and the Trade Union Committee for the high level of attention, humanitarian and social support, as well as for the unforgettable moments gifted to them on the eve of the professional holiday.

A solemn festive event and an ecological action dedicated to Novruz, one of our people’s most cherished holidays, were organized through the joint initiative of the United Trade Union Committee of the Ministry of Defense and military unit "N". The event, held on March 16, 2026, saw active participation from the trade union leadership, military unit command, officers, and soldiers. During the event, the promotion of our nation's centuries-old national-spiritual values and Novruz traditions among the younger generation and military personnel was emphasized. Symbolizing the arrival of spring and the awakening of nature, a large-scale tree-planting campaign was carried out to protect the environment, restore ecological balance, and expand green spaces within the military unit's territory. During the action, numerous new evergreen and ornamental trees suitable for the soil and climatic conditions were planted, and agrotechnical care was provided to existing greenery. Speakers noted that such actions not only contribute to the ecological environment but also further strengthen the close unity and moral solidarity between the army, the public, and trade union organizations. The military unit leadership and personnel expressed their deep gratitude to the United Trade Union Committee of the Ministry of Defense for the high level of attention, care, and the joint ecological initiative provided on the eve of the holiday.

A large-scale intellectual-entertainment competition named "Kudos" was organized for the employees of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AQTA) in honor of the Novruz holiday. This intense and engaging tournament, held in a modern format, was initiated and organized by the Agency's United Trade Union Committee. The primary purpose of the competition was to strengthen internal corporate connections, sincere communication, and friendly bonds among employees working in various structural divisions of the Agency. Furthermore, such intellectual platforms aim to stimulate team spirit (team building), reveal the mental potential and quick decision-making skills of employees, and foster a healthy competitive environment. A total of 17 teams, representing various departments and divisions of the Agency, competed for the title in a tournament met with great interest and enthusiasm. During the multi-round competition, participants demonstrated their logic, general knowledge, and ability to coordinate work within their teams. At the end of the competitive games, the winning teams were determined and awarded trophies, diplomas, and valuable prizes by the Agency's United Trade Union Committee. The participants expressed their gratitude to the trade union leadership for the festive spirit and the high level of organization provided on the eve of the holiday.

An important zonal seminar on the theme "Labor law, occupational safety, and compliance with technical safety regulations" has been organized in the city of Sheki in honor of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work. The event aimed to establish safe working conditions in workplaces and strengthen legal awareness. The seminar was attended by a broad delegation of trade union committee chairpersons, board members, and union activists from 10 regions (surrounding districts) operating under the Azerbaijan Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers (ADİİXİ Hİ). Legislative acts and industrial safety During the seminar, participants were provided with detailed information regarding the existing national legislative framework related to safety in labor activities, relevant articles of the Labor Code, and the requirements of normative legal acts adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan. One of the most important sessions was dedicated to explaining the rules for the timely prevention of accidents in production, as well as the objective investigation and official registration of such incidents in accordance with legislation. Legal mechanisms and internal control rules applied in this field were thoroughly analyzed by industry experts and speakers. Employees' labor rights and technical measures Throughout the seminar, the fundamental rights of employees during their labor activities were highlighted, with particular emphasis on the principles of provision with modern individual and collective protective equipment. Furthermore, methods for regular inspection of technical safety measures in enterprises, risk assessment, and the formation of a healthy psychological and physical environment in workplaces were explained with practical examples. The zonal seminar concluded with a detailed Q&A session for regional committee chairpersons and activists, followed by an exchange of experience in a mutual discussion format.

Spiritual values and solidarity during the month of Ramadan This spiritual event, held in honor of the month of Ramadan—one of the holiest months in the Islamic world and a symbol of mercy, blessing, and compassion—took place with great enthusiasm. The primary goal of organizing the Iftar program was to commemorate the spiritual values brought by the holy month and to further uphold the bonds of unity, equality, and friendship within the collective. Speakers at the event emphasized that the holy month of Ramadan strengthens feelings of kindness, compassion, and sharing in society, while enhancing solidarity among people. It was noted that bringing together the Agency's employees, who work with dedication to provide quality public services, stimulates corporate cohesion and team spirit. Strengthening mutual relations The event, held in a sincere and spiritual atmosphere, served to further strengthen mutual relations, close communication, and the long-standing traditions of unity within the sector trade union. An interactive seminar-training session on the theme "Sustainable personal development, positive thinking, and self-motivation" was organized at the Azerbaijan Academy of Labor and Social Relations for trade union members operating under the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan (ADİİXİ Hİ). Modern approaches and support for professional activity The primary objective of the training is to provide comprehensive support for the personal development processes of employees and to enhance their knowledge and skills for application in both daily and professional life based on modern approaches. Such projects aim to assist employees in managing stress in the workplace, establishing healthy communication within teams, and contributing to overall work quality by increasing professional efficiency. Mechanisms for positive thinking and self-motivation During the sessions conducted by the Academy’s professional trainers, components of sustainable development, emotional intelligence, methods for finding internal motivation, and ways to cultivate a positive mindset within a corporate environment were extensively analyzed. Participants were provided with practical examples on how to set goals effectively, manage time, and maximize their personal potential. The training concluded with discussions where participants emphasized the positive impact of such social and educational initiatives on employee motivation.

The 11th Ordinary General Congress and the Central Committee meeting of the International Eurasian Metalworkers' Federation have been held. This prestigious forum, which brings together sector-specific trade unions operating across the Eurasian space, served as a platform to adopt significant decisions in light of regional cooperation and global labor challenges. Broad international participation and strategic goals The Congress and the Central Committee meeting were attended by leaders of sector trade unions from various member countries, official delegations, and international labor experts. Throughout the international event, reports on the federation’s activities over the past period were presented, and detailed discussions were held regarding the expansion of cooperation among member organizations, the protection of the socio-economic interests of workers, and future directions for strategic development. Active participation of the Azerbaijani delegation With the aim of strengthening integration among trade unions in the region and developing international partnerships, Hikmet Nabiyev, Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan (ADİİXİ Hİ), represented our country at the event. Actively participating in the Congress, Hikmet Nabiyev held a series of bilateral meetings with international partners, providing foreign colleagues with detailed information on modern reforms within the Azerbaijani trade union system, as well as the systematic work carried out to improve working conditions and strengthen social dialogue. At the conclusion of the meeting, resolutions were adopted regarding the enhancement of solidarity among trade unions operating in the Eurasian space and the sustainable implementation of joint projects.

A magnificent festive event dedicated to "Su charshanbasi" (Water Tuesday), the first of the pre-Novruz Tuesdays and a harbinger of the cherished Novruz holiday, was organized by the Goychay District Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan (ADİİXİ Hİ). This colorful cultural event, held on February 24, 2026, was attended by representatives of member organizations, including leadership, staff, and activists from the Goychay district sector of the Central Aran Regional Youth and Sports Department, the District Youth House, and the District Children and Youth Development Center. During the festive program, talented children and teenagers presented special performances reflecting Novruz traditions, including national dances, theatrical skits, poetry recitals celebrating the arrival of Spring and the sanctity of water. The leadership of the Goychay District Committee highlighted the essential role of joint efforts between trade unions and youth organizations in passing down national customs and traditions to the younger generation. The event concluded with expressions of gratitude from the Goychay District Committee to the active participants and organizers for their contributions to the celebratory spirit.

A large-scale zonal seminar dedicated to the theme "Protection of women's and children's labor" was organized for trade union members and activists at the Main Clinical Hospital of the Armed Forces. The event served as an important platform for the protection of employees' labor rights and the implementation of legislation. The seminar, held on February 20, 2026, was attended by a broad delegation of trade union committee chairpersons, board members, and union activists representing Baku city and its districts, as well as the country’s leading ministries, state committees, and agencies. Legislative acts and legal mechanisms During the seminar, the rights and privileges enshrined in legislation regarding the protection of the labor of working women and children were analyzed in detail. Participants were provided with in-depth information about current regulatory legal acts, relevant articles of the Labor Code, and special decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Speakers explained the legal mechanisms for regulating the labor of women and children, the application of benefits, and the creation of favorable and safe working conditions, highlighting ways to implement these mechanisms in practice. State control and institutional partnership A key highlight of the event was the participation of officials from relevant government bodies, including specialists from the Labor and Health Protection Department of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHİK) and the Deputy Head of the State Control Department of the State Labor Inspectorate Service. An extraordinary Plenum meeting of the Lerik District Committee of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan (ADİİXİ Hİ) has been held. The meeting was attended by responsible committee officials, sector representatives, and trade union activists. During the Plenum, comprehensive discussions were held regarding the strengthening of the regional committee's activities, the optimization of management mechanisms, and upcoming strategic goals. The main agenda focused on increasing the efficiency of the trade union movement in the Lerik district and regulating organizational issues in accordance with charter requirements. Participants put forward their opinions and suggestions regarding the protection of members' rights at the local level and the implementation of social projects. At the conclusion of the discussions, relevant decisions were adopted to ensure the future work of the committee is organized more flexibly and efficiently. Furthermore, within the framework of organizational matters, an election for the position of Chairman of the Lerik District Committee was conducted. In accordance with the charter, Rail Mammadov was unanimously elected as the new Chairman of the Lerik District Committee by open vote. The leadership and staff of the ADİİXİ Hİ Republican Committee sincerely congratulate Rail Mammadov on his election to this responsible position and wish him great success in expanding trade union activities in the Lerik district, defending the interests of employees, and further enhancing the reputation of the organization.

On February 12, 2026, the 8th Ordinary General Assembly of the Trade Union of Office Workers of Turkey (Türk Büro-Sen) was held in Ankara, the capital of the Republic of Turkey. This prestigious event, representing the public and social service sectors of the brotherly country, brought together wide-ranging delegations and international partners. International cooperation and exchange of experience As a symbol of the unbreakable friendship and fraternal ties between Azerbaijan and Turkey, our country was represented at the assembly by Hikmet Nabiyev, Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan (ADİİXİ Hİ). During the visit, important discussions were held regarding the prospects for joint activities between the sector-specific trade unions of the two brotherly nations, future projects, and the strengthening of regional cooperation. Labor rights and modern challenges Within the framework of the assembly, the improvement of trade union activities in light of modern challenges and mechanisms for more reliable protection of labor rights for public sector employees were extensively analyzed. Furthermore, an exchange of views and experiences took place on strategic topics, such as strengthening the social security of service sector employees and improving working conditions in accordance with international standards. At the conclusion of the assembly, the leadership of Türk Büro-Sen expressed its deep gratitude to the Azerbaijani delegation for accepting the invitation and participating actively in the event. It was noted that such international platforms are of exceptional importance in forming the trade unions of the Turkic world as a unified center of power.

A large-scale sports tournament in chess and table tennis has been held among union members, organized by the United Trade Union Committee of the Ministry of Defense, which operates under the aegis of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan (ADİİXİ Hİ). Promotion of a healthy lifestyle and effective organization of leisure time The primary objective of the competitions, which were characterized by intense and exciting sporting rivalry, is to actively promote a healthy lifestyle among trade union members and to ensure the efficient and diverse organization of employees' leisure time. At the same time, such mass sports events aim to provide strong support for the development of employees' intellectual and physical potential, as well as to further strengthen team spirit and camaraderie within the collective. A contest of intellect and speed: Chess and table tennis During the tournament, members tested their skills in two different sports. While the chessboards showcased intellectual battles and strategic moves, the table tennis matches highlighted high speed, agility, and dynamism. Employees from various structural divisions under the Ministry of Defense actively participated in the competitions, vying for victory. At the conclusion of the tournament, participants who achieved high results were awarded diplomas, trophies, and valuable commemorative gifts by the United Trade Union Committee of the Ministry of Defense. The organizers emphasized that such mass sports events will be continued on a regular basis.

The Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan, a member organization of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHİK), organized a large-scale event entitled "Towards development with young colleagues," dedicated to February 2 – Azerbaijan Youth Day. The festive event, held at the Samad Vurgun Health and Recreation Center, was attended by the leadership of AHİK, high-ranking representatives of relevant government agencies and ministries, young activists from various trade unions, and numerous guests. During the event, speeches were delivered by the leadership of AHİK and representatives from the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Science and Education, highlighting the state youth policy, the strategic role of quality education in shaping professional human resources, and the importance of supporting youth initiatives. Special emphasis was placed on the historical legacy of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the significant contributions of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to youth development. The program continued with a special video presentation showcasing modern reforms within the trade union system, followed by inspiring success stories from exemplary young professionals. A highlight of the event was a panel discussion on "The role of youth in digitalization and the application of innovations," where participants exchanged ideas on integrating digital transformation into trade union activities. The forum concluded with a vibrant artistic and musical performance featuring renowned artists of the country.

A large-scale zonal seminar was held in the Nizami district of Baku, organized by the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan (ADİİXİ Hİ). The event represents another systematic step taken towards ensuring the implementation of the important State Program approved by the country's leadership. Implementation of the State Program and Public Oversight Held on January 15, 2026, the seminar was dedicated to the tasks stemming from the "State Program for 2025–2030 on Combating the Illicit Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances, and Their Precursors and Drug Addiction". The primary goal of the event was to increase the role of sector-specific trade union organizations in the fight against this global scourge and to strengthen public oversight mechanisms within labor collectives. Chairpersons of sector trade union organizations, board members, and union activists actively participated in the seminar. Awareness and Anti-Narcotics Propaganda During the seminar, extensive hearings and discussions were held regarding the legal, medical, and social aspects of combating drug addiction. The speakers particularly emphasized the role of establishing profound preventive and awareness-raising activities, especially among the youth. It was noted that strengthening anti-narcotics propaganda in educational and labor institutions, as well as effectively organizing youth leisure time, is of special importance for ensuring a healthy future. Prevention of Harm and Treatment Opportunities Detailed information was provided during the event regarding the severe moral, psychological, and financial damage caused by drug addiction to individuals, families, and society as a whole. Rehabilitation and treatment options offered by modern medicine were highlighted, and the significance of timely social-psychological support in saving human lives was underscored. At the end of the seminar, questions from participants were answered, and action plans for local trade union organizations for the upcoming period were determined within the framework of the State Program.

An extraordinary Plenum meeting of the Naftalan City Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan (ADİİXİ Hİ) has been held. The meeting was attended by the committee’s leadership, trade union members, and invited guests. During the Plenum, comprehensive discussions were held regarding the regional committee's current activities, upcoming tasks, and structural reforms. The main agenda focused on regulating organizational issues and ensuring more efficient management. Participants shared their opinions and suggestions on strengthening the trade union movement in the region, providing more reliable protection for workers' labor rights, and enhancing their social well-being. Furthermore, within the framework of organizational matters, an election for the position of Chairman of the Naftalan City Committee was conducted. In accordance with the charter, Elchin Salmanzade was unanimously elected as the new Chairman of the Naftalan City Committee by open vote. At the conclusion of the meeting, relevant decisions were adopted regarding the effective implementation of the committee’s future action plan. On behalf of the leadership and staff of the ADİİXİ Hİ Republican Committee, we congratulate Elchin Salmanzade on his new appointment and wish him every success in his efforts to expand trade union activities in the city of Naftalan and safeguard the interests of its members.

The Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (ATUC) and the Republican Union of Azerbaijan State Institutions and Public Service Workers Trade Unions, in partnership with the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), launched an important awareness program in Baku focusing on "Managing Gender Equality in the Workplace." The main objective of this event, which brought together representatives of various state institutions, was to introduce managers and executives to the newly emerging global challenges within the gender spectrum of the modern labor market. In addition, the development of managers' skills to correctly analyze different situations and produce proactive solutions in the daily working environment was brought to the forefront. During the sessions moderated by Pervana Mammadova, a well-known expert in the field of gender issues, interactive lectures were organized on building an equality model in the corporate environment, inclusive team management, and neutralizing any imbalances. In the practical part of the training, the participants conducted an in-depth analysis of hybrid working models brought by the era of digital transformation, mechanisms for maintaining work-life balance, and factors leading to inequality. Divided into teams, public servants performed case studies based on real corporate scenarios and developed effective strategic management plans against potential crises and risk situations. These innovative management solutions presented by the groups were highly evaluated by the expert panel. In the final stage of the training program, the main theses and the future roadmap regarding inclusive leadership qualities, building gender-sensitive internal communication channels, and establishing a psychologically safe working environment were presented to the participants. As an organization, we are determined to ensure the sustainability of such projects of international and regional importance, which enhance the legal and social well-being of our employees and strengthen the environment of equality in the workplace.
