In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Statute of the Union, the membership fee is set at 1% of the employee's monthly salary (or student stipend). These funds are used for protecting the rights of members, providing financial assistance, organizing cultural, mass, and sports events, as well as financing sanatorium-resort vouchers.

In case of violation of your labor rights (non-payment of salary, unjustified dismissal, violation of working hours, etc.), you can first officially apply to the Primary Trade Union Committee (the leadership of the PTUC) of your enterprise, or directly to the Legal Department of the Republican Union. According to Article 73 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, when a labor contract of an employee who is a member of a trade union is terminated by the employer on relevant grounds (for example, redundancy/reduction of staff or insufficiency of the employee's professional level), the prior consent of the enterprise's trade union committee must be obtained.

In order to increase the efficiency and transparency of the service provided to citizens, the issuance of sanatorium-resort vouchers is carried out through the "e-ahik.az" portal. Applications submitted through the electronic system are instantly registered and processed. Applicants whose requests are approved can pay the partial cost of the voucher online via the link sent to their personal accounts. The electronic voucher sent to the applicant's e-mail after the payment, along with the ID card, is considered the primary document for admission to the respective recreation or treatment center.

Regardless of the form of ownership, any person working or studying in the fields specified in clause 2.1 of the Statute of the Republican Union of ASI&PSW (State Institutions and Public Service Workers), who accepts this Statute, participates in the work of the primary trade union organization, and pays membership fees, as well as persons who worked in the respective field and retired, may become a member of the trade union.
