During his official visit to the Republic of Turkey to attend the VIII General Congress of the influential Kamu-Sen Confederation, Hikmet Nabiyev, Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan (ADİİXİ Hİ), held high-level bilateral meetings. The most significant part of the visit program was the official meeting between Chairman Hikmet Nabiyev and Önder Kahveci, who was re-elected as the Chairman of the Kamu-Sen Confederation. During the meeting, held in an atmosphere of sincerity and mutual respect, the importance of uniting sector-specific trade unions representing public servants from both brotherly countries on unified platforms was particularly highlighted.

As part of the successful Ankara visit, a business meeting was also held with the Chairman of the Trade Union of Office Workers of Turkey (Türk Büro-Sen), one of the largest member organizations of the Kamu-Sen Confederation. Throughout both meetings, the parties held a detailed exchange of views on the current state of multifaceted cooperation, the successes achieved, and future directions for development. The discussions emphasized the importance of sharing experience in protecting the rights of employees in the public and social service sectors, improving working conditions, and enhancing service quality.

At the conclusion of the official meetings, the parties discussed opportunities to further expand mutual strategic relations between the sector trade unions of Azerbaijan and Turkey, as well as the organization of joint regional seminars and training sessions, reaching a mutual agreement on future action plans. The Turkish partners expressed their deep gratitude to the Azerbaijani delegation for this important and historic visit, as well as for their continuous support for strengthening the trade union movement of the Turkic world.
