An extraordinary Plenum meeting of the Naftalan City Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan (ADİİXİ Hİ) has been held. The meeting was attended by the committee’s leadership, trade union members, and invited guests.

During the Plenum, comprehensive discussions were held regarding the regional committee's current activities, upcoming tasks, and structural reforms. The main agenda focused on regulating organizational issues and ensuring more efficient management. Participants shared their opinions and suggestions on strengthening the trade union movement in the region, providing more reliable protection for workers' labor rights, and enhancing their social well-being.

Furthermore, within the framework of organizational matters, an election for the position of Chairman of the Naftalan City Committee was conducted. In accordance with the charter, Elchin Salmanzade was unanimously elected as the new Chairman of the Naftalan City Committee by open vote.

At the conclusion of the meeting, relevant decisions were adopted regarding the effective implementation of the committee’s future action plan.
